The Eazao Zero is a 3D printer for ceramics. We have two Eazao Zeros in our lab. Each has a 500 ml extruder and a 150 x 150 x 240 mm build volume.
Replacement parts:
3/8″ outer diameter (OD), 1/4″ inner diameter (ID) tubing: between print tube and printer
1/4″ NPT to 3/8″ quick connect fitting: between canister and tubing
Luer lock syringe tips 14 gauge, 1.6mm inner diameter (comes standard with Eazao)
Luer lock syringe tips, 8-14 gauge, 3.5-1.6mm inner diameter, larger tips
Luer lock syringe tips, 14-25 gauge, .25-1.6mm inner diameter, smaller tips
350ml syringe, tube is the same diameter as print tube

Cleaning the Eazao
Print tube
Clean out the print tube. Remove all material from the inside using brushes. Put the clean print tube right next to the printer you have been using.
Tube and connector
Clean out the tube that leads from the print tube to the printer along with both attachment pieces. Use a combination of brushes and rods to force the material out of the tube. You have to do this right away. Material left in tubes dries out quickly. Once it has hardened it’s virtually impossible to remove and all parts have to be thrown way. This is costly and unsustainable.
Print head
Remove the syringe tip and put it into water to soak.
Unscrew the auger motor from the print head. Use a tooth brush to thoroughly clean the auger screw and seal. Leave the auger head near the printer to dry. This part can rust. Do not leave it sitting in water or attached to a wet machine for an extended period of time.
Use brushes to thoroughly clean the interior of the print head, including the attachment that leads to the tube. Do not remove the print head from the printer. Use a small container to collect waste material that comes out of the print head during this cleaning phase.
Use a sewing pin and small brush to clean out the syringe tip that has been soaking. This is easy to do when the material inside the tip is soft. Put the syringe tip back on the machine.
If you have removed any other parts from the machine, reattach them.
Print boards, containers, counter, brushes
Clean all print boards you have been using. This includes scraping off dried waste and washing them thoroughly. Let boards dry vertically to avoid warping. Do not leave wet boards in a stacked pile.
Clean all containers that you have been using. Clean all brushes and other cleaning tools you have used. Put away any tools you have left on the counter next to the printer. Wipe down the counter around your machine.
If you made material in the mixer, make sure that you have left that area completely clean. This includes the mixer, penetrometer, counter, scale, measuring cups, etc.
Leave the machine and surrounding area ready for someone else to use.
Someone else should be able load material into the print head, re-attach the auger motor, and begin to print. They should not need to find parts, clean parts, or reassemble the printer.
