I have gotten a fair way on my final. I have the measurements that I need to construct the top and a plan to translate those measurements into the smaller panels. Which is to make the general form that I need and then use surface morph with the number of square tiles I want used as panels, I can then take the results of that and make each individual piece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second main part of my final was printing a pattern onto the panels which will also be accomplished by using surface morph. I have the complete pattern created as well as a way to print it on a background surface. Unfortunately, the test print I chose to do turned out a little small and distorted however that is why we’re dong test prints. I also printed an object where the pattern would be printed along a vertical surface when I do plan on designing the panels so that the pattern can print flat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The only thing that changed in my timeline was having to move up the final due date-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Week of Nov 20- Finalize dimensions for the printed pieces and come up with a couple patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Week of Nov 27- Complete test prints for proof of concept and model printed pieces<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Week of Dec 4- Complete prints for use in the top<\/li>\n\n\n\n
