I am Jingbo, a Ph.D student from CS. My focus of study is computational structural bioinformatics. I enrolled in this class because I am curious how to combine arts and computer science together. Also, a project of my lab is to 3D print biomolecular structures. That is interesting too and pushes me to learn more about 3D printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The project I would like to introduce is the works finished by Alex in our lab. He computed the 3D structure of biomolecules, like proteins and RNA, and then 3D printed them out. Biomolecules visulization is helpful since it is easier for people to handle problems which they can see~ These pictures below are protein complexes.
