For this assignment I first wanted to create a bulbous vessel, I played around with the values in my code until I found a round shape that I thought looked nice. For the other two I wanted to do a triangle top and a rounder top, I played with the twist function for these two vessels as I wanted vessel 1 to be a bulb shape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this project I knew I wanted to do a bulb-like vessel, but had no idea what I wanted to do for the other vessels. I was able to find two that I really liked the look of by messing around with the parameters in grasshopper. I don’t think my sense of authorship feels any different because at the end of the day I made these vessels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With programming, designing things like this becomes so much easier. I can mess with the parameters and see the interaction with rhino as I am playing around. Using the traditional design process, I would have to think of exactly what I wanted to make and then make it within rhino and if I didn’t like it, I would have to delete a large portion or even start over. This way seems a lot more fluid and allows for quick changes that one can keep if they like or undo if they don’t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
