First 3D Print – Andrei Phelps

Setting up the printer was fairly straightforward. I initially tried following the setup videos, but they were a bit challenging to follow. Some steps weren’t explained clearly, and others didn’t apply to my specific model. Ultimately, I found the included manual and online forums to be much more helpful.

The main issue I encountered was during the bed leveling process. After everything was set up, the printer would start leveling but then suddenly shut off and restart. A bit of research revealed that this was due to the power setting on the back of the printer being set to 230 volts, which is standard for non-U.S. regions. After switching it to 115 volts, everything worked perfectly, and my first print came out well.
